Pricing Analyst

Job Summary

The Pricing Analyst is the point person between Patriot's internal sales teams and external suppliers. Pre-deal, the Pricing Analyst works closely with the sales representatives to source bids for their customers through Patriot's existing supplier network. After bids have been sourced, he/she packages the bids from suppliers and provides them to the sales representative in time for their scheduled meeting with the customer. Post-deal, the pricing analyst works to buy and secure the position for the customer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collects and organizes pertinent information from the sales representative and local distribution company in preparation for the bidding process. Works as the main point of contact both internally with sales representatives and externally with our supplier network to manage the pricing process for multiple customers simultaneously. Applies energy market, supplier, and product knowledge throughout the bidding process to ensure optimum results.
  • Coordinates, negotiates, analyzes, and compiles pricing from various suppliers in preparation for bid delivery to the potential customer. In charge of providing on-time pricing and ensuring accuracy of bids in a highly volatile commodity market. Manages supplier relationships including closing ratios as well as product and pricing feedback.
  • Negotiates and buys the customer's requested product, price, and term through our supplier network. Responsible for the creation or request of the customer's supplier agreement and guarantees the accuracy of the final product. Regularly troubleshoots complex pricing and contracting issues.
  • Researches and comprehends complicated market information. Remains up-to-speed on market news. Works on team projects as assigned.

Contract Analyst

Job Summary

This highly visible position is responsible for executing the internal and external contracting process. He/she will work closely with competitive energy suppliers to ensure accurate verification and processing of all Patriot Energy retail supplier contracts. This allows for accurate flow of information to our internal information systems, suppliers and to customers alike. He/she will also manage customer contract status, including enrollment, drop, and other contracting and enrollment issues.

Contract Verification Execute Retail Electric and Natural Gas Agreements

  • Perform contract verification per Patriot/supplier requirements on all incoming contracts for new enrollment and renewal
  • Verify/update enrollment data for database tracking
  • Execute supplier contracts
  • Maintain electronic files for contracts submitted to suppliers (for tracking and auditing), coordinate with Sales/Legal/Operations on contract processing issues

Interface with Retail Energy Providers

  • Troubleshoot contract issues with suppliers and Sales Reps
  • Manage the relationship between Patriot Energy and Suppliers
  • Verify Enrollment/ Drop information with Suppliers and Utilities, ensuring enrollments, renewals and drops are successfully enrolled and recorded accurately.
  • Troubleshoot/Investigate account issues that occur before, during, and after contracts are received and enrolled.
  • Assist in the investigation and handling of contract errors and documents accordingly
  • Initiate contract cancellations with Retail Suppliers
  • Manage internal reports by investigating and resolving discrepancies with enrollments, drops, rejections with suppliers and utilities
  • Report to Managers, Sales Reps and Agents on the status of their accts as required
  • Participates in meetings; analysis and report generation, correspondence and preparing and delivering presentations.

Client Care Executive

Job Summary

The position reports to the Client Care Manager and is responsible for the retention of all clients who no longer have a direct sales associate assigned to them. The ideal candidate will possess and share knowledge of multiple deregulated markets while also educating the client on market trends. Expanding and implementing supply side commodity purchasing strategies of electricity and natural gas contracts is a key part of this role. Problem-solving, trouble-shooting client issues, and client follow-up is also necessary. Although retaining the current business is a must, seeking opportunities within the assigned book of business will also be expected.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain lucrative relationships with assigned client base
  • Understand client needs and wants while educating them on market trends
  • Design, expand and implement supply side commodity purchasing strategies of electricity and natural gas contracts
  • Problem-solve and trouble-shoot client issues that arise
  • Follow-up with clients on a consistent basis
  • Retain client base while expanding client volume
  • Achieve outlined monthly quota targets by resigning upcoming expired agreements and reaching retention goals for existing base of customers
  • Some local travel may be required
